Is the fill station open 24/7?
Yes. Prime’s fill station in Red Deer is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Account customers use their PIN to fill up any time, and one-time customers can pay by credit card at the on-site terminal.
What water temperatures are available?
Prime’s fill station offers cold water at 2°C to 6°C, warm water at 25°C to 35°C and hot water at 45°C to 55°C. If your job needs something specific, we can supply custom-temperature water up to 80°C.
How do I set up a bulk water account?
Call our team at 1-800-997-4899 or fill out the form on this page. We set up your account and give you a PIN. At the station, enter your PIN, choose the temperature and how many cubic metres you need, and the system fills your truck or tank. Account customers are billed monthly.
Can I fill up without an account?
Yes. For a one-time fill, pay by credit card at the terminal at the fill station, then choose how much water you need and the temperature.
How fast does the station fill a truck?
The automated system loads one cubic metre of water per minute, so a 10 cubic metre load takes about 10 minutes. You load only the volume you need.
Are there any truck size or hose connection requirements?
No. The station has 2-inch and 3-inch side-load connections and a 4-inch top-load connection, with adaptors available for other sizes.
Who uses Prime bulk water services?
Most of our customers are fluid haulers running tank trucks, water trucks, vac trucks and hydrovacs, and the oilfield is our biggest customer base. We also supply water for filling swimming pools and hot tubs and for flooding ice rinks.
